Church Histories

The summer of 2010 has been remarkable for the number of churches in Saskatchewan which have been celebrating their 100th anniversaries. Below is a summary from our Events pages, of the churches and their celebration dates. So far we have received one document summarizing the history of the Zoar Mennonite Church in Waldheim.

A number of people asked Ed Schmidt for a copy after his presentation at the anniversary celebration. He has expanded and polished it, to be shared here with those who are interested.

There are five churches in the Saskatchewan Valley area celebrating their 100th Anniversaries this summer, and one their 50th.
