This quilt to the left has a unique story. It was created by the ten-year-old granddaughter of Alma Elias, a well-recognized and accomplished quilter in these parts and beyond. The granddaughter wanted to learn this skill and contribute a quilt to this Relief Sale. She was able to complete this project under the supervision of her grandmother.

This Horse picture quilt with a soft brown backing sold for over $500!

To see photos of the actual Auction of some of these quilts, and some of the other items go to this page; Relief Sale Virtual Auction Sale Tour. There is also a page which wanders around to visit the many displays and other sales areas at the Relief Sale.
