Laird Snow Bird School - Private CemeteryName of R.M.: Laird No.: 404 Names of people buried there are: Amanda and Albertine remember singing "In Dem Himmel ist es Wunderschoen" at this funeral. At present, Albertine Speiser lives in Saskatoon and Amanda in Waldheim. These people were buried along a fence line east and south of the former Snowbird School and they said there used to be a fence around the graves. This land is now farmed by the Hutterite Colony located near the North Saskatchewan River between Waldheim and Laird. They did not know if there were gravestones to mark the graves. They were under the impression this area of graves had been worked with the surrounding land and there was nothing left to mark the grave sites. |
