Also, an 8-page document with more details on the itinerary planned, including the optional Krakow extension, costs, etc. Seeing-Poland-2013-Document.pdf The poster above announces next summer's installment of the California Mennonite Historical Society's spectacular tour of Poland, entitled "Seeing Poland through Mennonite Eyes - 2013." For a number of years, they have conducted this special tour of Poland, with a focus on the sights (and sites!) in Poland that are of special interest to those Mennonites with a Dutch/Prussian/Low German heritage, all of whom have ancestral roots in what is now Poland. Dr. Peter J. Klassen originated the tour itinerary, and Alan Peters has picked up the torch from him, and is now leading the annual tour. Alan Peters offers the above document about next summer's tour, and invites you to look it over carefully, and see if you can imagine yourself joining them on this informative, exciting and comfortable tour of Poland. Contact information is in the document if you have any questions. This Tour would be a good way to "return to your roots" as well as get a "taste" of Polish history, art, music, culture and cuisine! |
