Comments: It is thought that Dr. Elder donated the land about 1914. The cemetery Committee was organized in April 1992, mainly to maintain and to organize monthly cleaning bees. Improvements have been made to some of the graves sites. For many of the graves that did not have a headstone, we made one to mark the site.

In 1993 we received donations to plant and repair the cemetery. Evergreen trees were planted on two sides and a cotoneaster hedge near the highway. The summer of 2003 a metal gate sign was erected. Volunteers watered the newly planted trees, shrubs and flowers. Since the soil is mainly sand and gravel it is difficult to maintain solid growth. The dry season, the grasshoppers and the gophers are also a problem.
