Comments: Cemetery is midway between the town of Medstead and the tiny, almost abandoned Hamlet of Glenbush (Post Office, complex of three schools). The Medstead Cemetery is badly neglected and is in terrible shape. The first row of burials lie on the east side under an untrimmed Caragana hedge in knee deep grass, and are nearly all unidentified (unmarked). In lieu of headstones, white cross shaped markers have been tapped into the ground, and the names of the deceased either unknown (Blank), or perhaps only a surname (e.g. Pertel), or a full name and lifespan (e.g. # 8: Hjalmer Carlson, 1904 – 1922).
