Mennonite Historical Society of Saskatchewan

Options for Donating to MHSS

We are a registered charitable organization and thus are able to issue tax deductible receipts. Your donations help to purchase the special material and storage containers for archival housing. We organize different kinds of events and work on projects.

Our Archives space is rented in the basement of Bethany Manor in Saskatoon. (This is normally open to anyone, whether members or the public, may come to do research during our regular office hours. Of course, this has been cancelled during the COVID lockdown in Bethany Manor. We do still hope that this will lift and regular activity can happen in the Archives.

All this has led us to look for more online or digital ways to receive donations, as our expenses continue. We now have three options for your donations:

1. Cheques by mail: You may send donation cheques to
Mennonite Historical Society of Saskatchewan,
900 - 110 LaRonge Road,
Saskatoon, Sask. S7K 7H8.

2. E-Transfer: These can be done in mere minutes online, transferring funds from your bank account to ours. Some banks charge a fee. Some, like credit unions do not. We also have a very special email we have designated for this, but we don't want to show it here publically for spammers to snap up. So we ask that you use our Contact form to ask for it.

3. NEW! Donate online through CanadaHelps.org and designate to Mennonite Historical Society of Sask.. You will get an instant receipt! (Of course, you will need to print it out yourself, or save it to your electronic device.)

Regardless of which option you choose for donating - we sincerely, THANK YOU FOR YOUR DONATION.

Please provide your name and email with your E-Transfer request.
